SEO + AEO context

Our strategic engagement for BlinkMoney integrated both SEO and AEO methodologies. While some foundational points are reiterated across reporting, the distinct challenges, operational interventions, and performance KPIs for Answer Engine Optimization vary substantially from traditional SEO and are detailed separately throughout this case study.

1. The challenge

Winning visibility when the answer engine is selective.

a

Hyper-competitive niche and model bias

The wealth-tech space was saturated, while AI models showed a strong training bias toward established incumbents. Establishing BlinkMoney as an expert source inside the model knowledge base was significantly harder as a result.

b

The no-search trigger gap

Many user prompts that required external information did not trigger a live web search. That limited BlinkMoney’s ability to appear at the critical point of decision-making.

c

GPT visibility deficit

BlinkMoney had lower traffic and Share of Voice on GPT-based platforms than on Google AI, where there was more overlap with traditional search. The gap called for platform-specific optimization.

2. The strategy

A data-driven framework for answer-engine visibility.

01

SOV tracking across Google AI and ChatGPT

Monitor Share of Voice across AI-native platforms to measure brand visibility where users are asking high-intent questions.

02

Search-triggering niches and prompt variants

Identify query patterns relevant to BlinkMoney’s ideal customer profile that successfully trigger AI search, not just traditional web search.

03

Interest and volume proxies for fulfillment

Use data-driven proxies to gauge interest and demand, keeping content priorities aligned with real-world user intent.

04

Autonomous ML-powered content creation

Use machine learning to generate and refine authoritative content at scale, helping BlinkMoney remain a preferred source for answer engines.

AEO visibility loop

From platform signals to authoritative answers.

BlinkMoney’s AEO operating model connected measurement, search-trigger discovery, demand proxies, and content fulfillment into one continuous loop.

01

Platform signals

Track mentions, citations, and visibility across Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT.

02

Search triggers

Find the niche questions and prompt variants that cause answer engines to search.

03

Demand proxies

Prioritize topics using signals that reflect interest and fulfillment potential.

04

Authoritative answers

Create and refine content that earns visibility on the platforms that matter.

Operating flow: platform visibility informs the prompts to pursue, demand signals shape fulfillment, and authoritative content feeds the next measurement cycle.

3. Execution: the RocketAEO model

How we achieved this

To achieve these outcomes, we function as a seamless Martech Org as a Service rather than a conventional external vendor, providing a completely integrated, end-to-end execution framework.

01

Client sync, roadmap, and discussion

Operating as an extension of the internal product team, we maintain continuous alignment through consistent client check-ins and an adaptive running roadmap.

02

Configurable systems and custom strategies

We adopt distinct business priorities as our own and implement configurable architectures that pivot around the brand’s unique milestones.

03

Frontier technology: AI, software, and data science

Proprietary artificial intelligence, software design, and advanced data science are embedded into the workflow to uncover growth paths traditional tools overlook.

04

End-to-end execution

The RocketAEO team handles tactical execution so the brand can supervise high-level milestones and pair strategic direction with execution efficiency.
